Ukraine could receive natural gas from Klaipeda LNG terminal by 2018

Lithuania is ready to share its experience with Ukraine in striving for energy independence. Ukraine could receive gas from the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Klaipeda since 2018, Minister of Energy Rokas Masiulis said at the Lithuania-Ukraine Presidents' Council.

Minister of Energy Rokas Masiulis welcomed the participants of the Baltic Energy Forum 2014. He emphasised that the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal will change the rules that the energy market operates under. From now on gas price will be established based on economical and not political motives.
